FS 40 Silverton DC MY in Michigan
 
My Silverton is a 40-ft. Dbl. cabin Motor Yacht 1988 model year. A pair of
Crusader FWC (Fresh Water Cooled) 454 cubic inch 350 horsepower engines
power it. The accumulated running time is about 1030 hours. It has a
Kohler 7.5k generator with approximately two hundred hours on it.



On the bridge, the following equipment: Furuno GP30 G.P.S. (new 1999).
Furuno LC90 Mark 2 LORAIN (new 1993). Raytheon X20, 24-mile radar coupled to
the G.P.S. Cetreck Pro Pilot 725 autopilot and coupled to G.P.S. and LORAN,
Kenwood stereo with tape player with 4 speakers. A Flo-Scan Fuel monitor.
Auto retracting Bennett trim tabs with when key is turned off. VHF, radio a
Standard Horizon Omni and the hailer is by Standard Horizon. Speed and
distance meters and a depth sounder. There is an Engine Synchronizer with
all other engine operation instrumentation. The bridge is completely
enclosed.



Below deck are two staterooms one forward and one aft, a dining area, galley
and main lounge. Each stateroom has a full head. The lounge contains a
sleeper couch, barrel chair and a coffee table. In the galley has a Norcold
refrigerator, stove/oven, and two-basin stainless steel sink. Instant hot
water at the sink. We re-carpeted the entire interior 1999.



The yacht is equipped with two air conditioners with heat one 16000 Btu and
one 12000 Btu. A

Ice maker, Clarion remote control radio with 12-disk c.d. changer with
cassette tape player. Engine batteries (D series batteries) replaced spring
of 1999.



There is an amplified TV antenna system. And the entire yacht is wired for
cable TV and telephone.



The engine compartment is protected by a Halon fire system.



Other supporting equipment includes two anchors with lines, for and aft
bilge pumps, the bow anchor is lifted by a Good windless with two hundred
fifty feet of line. We have four 12 x 32 bumpers/fenders contained with-in
stainless steel baskets. All life jackets and Coast Guard equipment is
included. There are two thirty-amp power cords one 50 ft. one 25 ft., and a
power adapter from fifty to thirty amp 120 v. Weaver Snap davits are on the
swim platform. A outboard motor can be hung for storage on a
transom-mounted bracket above the swim platform for storage.



Recent maintenance completed last spring includes; repainting the bottom.
Scratches in gel coat were repaired. The swim platform was refinished and
the water line was repainted with Imron Paint. The engines were re-aligned
and the rudders were trued to centerline. Then we rubbed out the entire
boat.

This boat powered by a pair of 25 x 25 inch Michigan Wheel four blade
Nibrile propellers and we have a spare pair of Michigan Wheel three blade 25
x 27-inch Nibrile props.
