Try what you like. Salt tablets never hurt me, but ask your doc.
That Gatorade tastes like crap to me. I prefer water and salt.
You might weigh yourself sometimes to get a handle on it.
I recall weighing 185 starting and 180 after a shift.
Maybe drank 3 quarts of water and lost 4 or 5.
Made up the difference before the next shift.
The weight thing surprised me at first, because I thought I was
drinking as much as I was losing. But I was sweating off more.
Might be impossible to keep up with a heavy sweat and heavy work.
I never got fatigued or sick, but I was in my 20's then.
If I start sweating too much now I find a cool spot and a cold drink.
Maybe take a nap. Pace yourself. No sense fighting the heat for too
long. It will win in the end.
