And, as usual, out of the pockets of "not the wealthy backers

And the buck stops WHERE?
Where is "taking responsibility"? On vacation again?

Actually, this week simply added to the the end of this claim. Under Bush II,
discretionary spending has increased from $640 billion to $1.040 trillion
dollars.

Is there anything left of the old Republican philosophy? It seems to be
entirely in the crapper.

The Repugs are now trying to blame low-income minority families for the
mortgage bust. That wasn't what created the crisis. What was done with
the loans after they were packaged, sold and used to make leveraged
plays was the problem.

Hostile forces began attacking the US economy as far back as 2000 with
Democrats led by Barney Frank pushing low/no collateral loans in the
guise of helping the poor. Of course anybody with more than two
neurons could see this was a bad idea and that it would damage the
economy. However, in 2005, when Greenspan warned about Fannie Mae and
Freddie Mac having so many of these loans, legislation to slow it down
was stopped by the hostiles led by US Democrats. To forestall any
other defensive action, these two quasi federal agencies contributed
huge amounts to the Democrats and to Obama in particular. With
nothing left to stop them, the attack gained momentum. The attack has
come to fruition with the Dems doing by guile and inside attacks what
the Soviets could never do by force, the destruction of the US
economy.
Most people do not think the Dems set out to destroy the US economy
but I think they did, the circumstantial evidence seems to point that
way. Obama's best friend, Jeremiah Wright hates the USA. Another of
his best friends Bill Ayers hates the USA enough to set bombs in the
pentagon. The Obamas advised kids to not go into the corporate
world. The Oboma campaign has been given huge amounts by Fannie Mae
to make sure nothing stopped the attack.

Part of the Dems attack on democracy and the free market economy.
Even now, Barney Frank keeps pushing for more no collateral loans
knowing that as long as they are around the mortgage market cannot
recover. Obama has been given large amounts of money by Fannie Mae,
Freddie MAc and Lehman Brothers
