Has the Corp of Engineers got the levees in shape to keep NO from
flooding again?
Will habitat construction/reconstruction done during the past 3 years
will be destroyed if they fail?
If the levees can't withstand this hurricane, what was the use of any
Corp work on the levees?
What was the decision making process in this whole deal?
I recall some saying NO should be abandoned.
I feel weird watching this train-wreck in progress.
I don't wan't it to happen, but cant avert my eyes.
Let's hope the levees hold. That would be super.

The levees are not in shape, and won't ward off a really serious storm.
They might have been, but we shot our wad of $$$ in Iraq.

D'oh.

I wrote a long response that wasn't very nice, but I threw it away.

Good for you. I do it all the time.

Suffice to say that since everything, including the leading questions
in your message are so incredibly wrong and twisted.......

....... I'll only note that Hannah (sic) isn't threatening New Orleans
at all......

Gustav. Sorry for the "typo" but I had just heard Hannah mentioned.
What's "twisted" about my questions?
Be nice, like me.
