Please, Tim. He doesn't need encouragement. By inviting folks from another
group over here, he's trying his damndest, with help from Jim and Don, to
see the demise of this place.

Out of the 1100 posts I came back to today, I'd bet 900 were in response to
bull**** from Harry, JimH, or Don.

Sorry John.

All in light heartedness.

You are tasking what little brainpower herring has.

Enjoy your camping but don't let them sign you up for a membership. Ask
me about my adventure with the 1000T in Orlando sometime.
Too late, but I've got 7 days to back out. I signed up for the National
at
the East Coast price. In talking to other members while there, they
seemed
to think I got a pretty good deal.

But, I'm interested in your experience at Orlando.

GET OUT NOW.. while you have a chance. Do a bunch of Google searches
and find others who have done it "there" before you decide for sure...
You can always go back, they will take you;)

I wonder if Herring would be interested in buying a share of the
Brooklyn Bridge?

I attended a timeshare pitch 30+ years ago at Sea Pines at Hilton Head.
Short presentation, great barbecue lunch, alligators nearby. Even way back
then, I knew timeshares were being offered in order to make their
marketers a hell of a lot more money then they could make just selling off
the units in their entirety.

We attended a half day presentation because the booth set up in the hotel
lobby promised breakfast and $50.00.
It wasn't worth it, but it was a rainy day and I was curious after hearing
about the scam from friends.
They sure didn't like it when I just said I wasn't interested but kept
grilling the salesman for details.

You've got it backwards as usual.
Most of our posts were in response to bull**** from your drone army. I
detect a lack of discipline and hold the senior officer accountable.

DD,
Where do you get these ideas about a drone army? You talk about a drone
army, but then spend all of your time saying they all act independently.

I am beginning to understand why you spent your life working at a job
you didn't like, that didn't treat their employees with respect or even
provide a salary that would keep up with inflation. You just are
lacking the most basic marketable skills and don't have the ability to
think rationally.

I personally would never by a timeshare, because by the time you pay
your membership fees, your usage fees, your annual fee you could have
come out ahead, just by paying a regular fee at the campground of your
choice.

But if I did want to buy a timeshare, I would never buy it from the
sales agent, I would buy one from a timeshare owner, trying to unload it
at 10% of the cost of a new one. People will almost give them away,
because they don't want to be stuck with the annual fees.

Here is an example of how low you can get them for.

Thanks for that site. Actually, it makes me feel better for the deal we
got. The problem with comparing older contracts to newer contracts is that
the details are not the same. The newer contracts include "Outdoor World
Resorts" and many more campgrounds.

But, I'm looking and learning. We've got five days left to cancel.

Cancel now!

Do the research over the winter and if you still want to do it they will
take your money in the spring.

It isn't that easy. You don't get out of a contract with just a letter
stating your desire to.

That seems to be the manner in which you three face the truth. Throw a
little foul talk on your screen and think you've really scored big.

The state of Virginia requires a seven day 'cooling off' period for the
camping contracts.
