I would argue that there is little relationship between 'intelligence' and
'stupidity'.

If you like McCain, I wouldn't be bringing up Grant. While Grant,
himself, might have been clean, there was considerable corruption in
his
administration, oh, and allegations of anti-semitism.
I think he's just comparing candidate to candidate, especially looking

"got himself shot down and taken prisoner?"
Harry, is that really how you think?

If so, then Icepick is right.
this DOES sound desperite for the DNC.

Tim, the man has often called me stupid for getting drafted. Yes, that's
how he thinks. Noble of him, yes?

If you are stupid for being drafted, I wonder what he thinks about
someone who volunteers to dig ditches for the Marines?

If it was built by the Marine Corps, it will be the best damn ditch
ever dug.

Followed closely by Squid Seabees - gotta give 'em that. :)

Squid Seabees would dig the ditch. Would be the Squid Marines that guarded
the Squid Seabees as they built the best damn ditch. My brother was a Squid
Seabee. 2 tours at China Beach. Building the hospital you Squid Marine
most likely ended up in.

I would argue that there is little relationship between 'intelligence' and
'stupidity'.

Only a mathematical one.
If you are discussing what is measured by so called intelligence
tests, there seems to be a bell shaped curve, with as many below
average as above it. The correllation between IQ and the real world
does gets debated a lot.

America has dumbed down substantially the last few years.

As far as the Marine ditch, I don't think they actually dug the ditch I

Lots of farmers have dug about a zillion miles of irrigation ditches
with dynamite. That's why they make the low grade 25% stuff. That and
stump blowing, which is also moving dirt.

Old Ford chore tractor, 8N, or maybe an old Farmall M, with a post
hole auger driven by the PTO to dig the charge holes. You could buy a
dozer for what extra det cord would cost for ditching. There are more
ditching contractors with equipment these days and there is less
ditching with powder.

One only needs to look at you for proof that most of liberal America
is lower on the IQ scale than brain dead.
