Apparently he fishes off of a much bigger boat than is in that video. I
wasn't aware the Captain's poaching problem.

Nope, it is a tall transom boat.

That boat is very typical of the smaller day charter boats on the bay. They
take out groups of up to six, normally, for a days fishing at a cost of
about $600-$800. Of course, some are bigger, take more passengers, and cost
a bunch more also.
