Moron... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWlLaPzcyOQ Reminds me of the day we had a ceiling of about 700 feet and winds about 18 kts. We tied a 26' LoPo to a creeper and took it to the local elementary school to ride it across the black top. At least we wore helmets. When it was my turn I caught a 40 kt gust and wound up with the back of my neck and shins on the same plane as I listened to my deltoid muscles ripe down my back. We were using an anemometer. Bored skydivers will do just about anything for a thrill. |

I used to have a 22 range in my barn. Bullet trap in front of a wall of stacked concrete blocks. I shot for the heads on playing cards at 5 yards or so. Rabbits can be shot sitting, of course, with any good pistol, it doesn't have to be a S&W model 41 target pistol like I used. Actually rabbits should be hunted by two guys, one with a rifle for head shots on sitting ones, and the shotgun man handles the runners. Let them get out to non mangle range. Idea is to hit them with a dozen pellets, and many more won't help. Go to bigger shot instead if you have magnum ammo with a heavy charge. Cottontails are good eating, the younger the better. My cat once bought me seven Norway rat sized live rabbits which I fried up for the both of us. You can catch a rabbit by hidiing under a bush and making the sound of something crunching on a carrot. That's easy if you have a carrot. You can bat them in the direction of the cat easier than grabbing them. Not that that particular cat had the slightest difficulty catching them. Sport hunting, she had an open bag of cat food on the kitchen floor. We now have five cats, two dogs, and one food dish, which we keep full at all times. Keeps it simple. Casady |
