We need the storm to come straight up the state and then STOP over N Georgia. This is an interesting storm. I was just looking at Havana and Key West radar - there appears to be a northerly wall building, but there doens't seem to be any convection south and not a lot of feeder bands. Looking at the individual cell tracks, there doesn't appear to be any closure to the wall - low pressure, yeah, but no "eye" if you will. I think, and being an amateur at this which means it's probably bullfeathers, that the southerly wind shear at 30-40K feet was stronger than they anticipated which is ripping the storm apart. Well, forecast that son of bitch to stop over N. GA. Screw N. Georgia. I want it back out in the Atlantic then up the East Coast right up Fisher's Island Sound so I can get from great pictures from Watch Hill. :) Screw you and your silly photography. Did I tell you I am taking a trip a 9 day trip to Yosemite and Eastern Sierra in Oct.? Yes, yes, yes, and you didn't invite me. It sounds like a blast of a trip! Jealous is me. -- ** Good Day! ** John H All you need is a plane ticket and you are there. I understand the workshop is open to everyone except Olympus users. ![]() I decided it was time to reread http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/d20...sers-guide.pdf If you haven't read this before it is a user friendly version of the owners manual. Nope, hadn't seen it. It is being printed as we speak. Looks like a very handy, brief reference. Thanks a lot. Now, how again does one sign up for this workshop? |
