Invaders (OT but relevant sorta)
 

In a previous post I ranted bout yankees who have invaded my little
piece of paradise but I plead guilty to hypocrisy.
I bought property in WY and I am sure the natives there see me the
same way as I do the Yanks who have invaded FL. Am not quite sure how
to get around this issue but it is on my mind whenever I am out
there. I wonder if Yanks who invade FL think about this.

Just for the benefit of HK, the Cheney ranch is just a few miles from
our place in WY. This summer we met a kinda odd woman atop the
mountain who lives alone in a one room log cabin without water or
power but has a half wolf half shepard mix dog. The dang thing looks
like a wolf (and has that look in its eyes) and is huge (I mean the
dog). The woman claimed that in high school she dated Cheney for
awhile. Somebody told us the story was true "Frannie was a real
looker in her day but she lost out to a pair of double Ds".
