Ok.. let's work it out Johnny.
The max weight capacity for my boat is 821 lbs with the max weight *person*

Are you telling me that the average 'merican weighs 124 lbs?...

Do you really think the calculation only take the occupants weight
into consideration? No padding for circumstances? Geeze...

For decades the airlines have used a figure of 170 pounds, including
luggage.

They know that 10 is too many. Last month, a couple of guys drowned in the
River at Tracy. 10 in a 14' boat at 1am and it capsized.

You can figure that if two out of the ten were sober, they would have
been the ones drowned.

Was having a senior moment. was 4 sober ones. Or at least 4 drowning
victims.

What I am suggesting is they allow for maximums and lots of padding in
all of the calculations. The average weight of the passengers is not
to be considered the average of the stated capacity vs stated number
of passengers... it just doesn't work that way. Fact is, Canada has
it's own opinion of how much the boat can carry... the are thinking 3
Canadians put as much pressure on the vessel as 4 "Merkins, that's
all.. Either they think Canadians are fatter, or they require more
boat per pound of load..... I think John was teasing.. Like my dad
used to say. "Some people only open their mouths to change feet". ;)

Donny is getting dumber by the day. WAFM.
