Chuck's Island is getting exciting again. Funny too.

I PROTEST!!

Hmmm - maybe I should reup again and lurk.

Then again, maybe not.

In a nutshell, someone signed up there with a provocative username (J.H.
Crist, if memory serves) and when you looked at some of the details, part
of the setup was engineered to make it look as if Jim H was responsible.
The reality, of course, is that one of the dwarfs did it, and now the
dwarfs are busy over there trying to deflect, as usual.

Your emotionally disturbed fishing buddy, JustWait, claimed here that *I*
was the guy who set up the account, but it more likely was him or loogy or
one of the other idiot dwarfs. First, I have no reason to create problems
for JimH and, second, unlike most of them, *I* can spell
Christ.

Chuck's Place, alas, is now almost entirely "used" by the dwarfs, none of
whom seems to know schitt from shoepolish about boats, boating, fishing,
or anything related. Five of us, and the number is growing, are sort of
watching it turn into what the dwarfs have turned rec.boats into...

As the Worm Turns...

There are five stooges now? Who are the new recruits?

"If memory serves", kind of like the Christmas cross event? You did
it, you are the only one here who would use the Lords name in such a
callus manner.. and you know it.. You have certain tells when you are
lieing, there are several right here in this post, starting with my
first line.. You did it, and you know it.

If I signed on somewhere with a handle like that (and I wouldn't), I
would have at least spelled "Christ" properly. Your pack of jackals is
so frippin' stupid, its members would spell Christ "Crist" and not be
aware of the standard English error they were making, "Mr. Callus."

I think Christ was a pretty cool dude. It's too bad so many of those who
proclaim themselves to be Christians...aren't.

You don't know what you don't know.. You don't have to be good to be a
Christian, you only have to have faith. Maybe I can't spell, and don't
care to take the time to screw with a spellchecker.. but my words as
misspelled are they are, are not lies like most of yours, so mine are
still more powerful...

Sadly, too long to fit on a bumper sticker.

My point, by the way, had nothing to do with being a Christian. It had
to do with stupidity and the inability to spell Christ. If we were
playing "Clue," I would suspect you, Loogy, or Florida Jim, three of the
dumbest, most ignorant fochs to ever "grace" usenet. I don't think
Herring would play the "Crist" game.

You want a bumper sticker.. Here is one I made up a few years back:

"Why are people who don't believe in God...

... so afraid of him?"

My dad wanted me to put that on his truck when he was still driving..;)

I suspect you and your dad are unfamiliar with the Old Testament, since
even those who believed in God were scared of him.

Next?

Of course he did it. He misspelled it purposely. Since harry is infallible,
it's an obvious attempt to cover his tracks and stir more ****. He's running
out of material, so he needs to invent some, and it's working.

You have no knowledge of the background for that particular spelling in that
context. Was it intentional or ignorance? When you don't know, you don't
know.

On second thought, maybe you do have *first* hand knowledge of that
particular spelling.
