Narcissist jokes:
"Every man wants a woman he can look down on." "There's nothing wrong with narcissists that reasoning with them won't aggravate." "I'm really easy to get along with once you people learn to worship me." "Any connection between your reality and mine is purely coincidental." "How does a narcissist sleep? First he lies on one side, then he lies on the other." "How can you tell when a narcissist is lying? His lips are moving." "What do you get when you cross the Godfather with a narcissist? An offer you can't understand." "What is the difference between a catfish and a narcissist? One's a bottom-crawling scum sucker, and the other's just a fish." "What do you call an honest narcissist? An impossibility." "Hear about the terrorist that hijacked a 747 full of narcissists? He threatened to release one every hour if his demands weren't met." "What do a narcissist and a sperm have in common? Both have about a one in 3 million chance of becoming a human being." "Really, I'm the most appealing, sexy, charming, wonderful, most intelligent man walking the face of the earth. Ask all those b****es who left me!" A man goes to a Psychologist and says, "Doc I got a real problem, I can't stop thinking about sex." The Psychologist says, "Well let's see what we can find out", and pulls out his ink blots. "What is this a picture of?" he asks. The man turns the picture upside down then turns it around and states, "That's a man and a woman on a bed making love." The Psychologist says, "very interesting," and shows the next picture. "And what is this a picture of?" The man looks and turns it in different directions and says, "That's a man and a woman on a bed making love." The Psychologists tries again with the third ink blot, and asks the same question, "What is this a picture of?" The patient again turns it in all directions and replies, "That's a man and a woman on a bed making love." The Psychologist states, "Well, yes, you do seem to be obsessed with sex." "Me!?" demands the patient. "You're the one who keeps showing me the dirty pictures!" A Ns wife goes to the Wizard to ask him if he can remove a curse she has been living with for the last 10 years. The Wizard says, "Maybe, but you will have to tell me the exact words that were used to put the curse on you." The woman says without hesitation, "I now pronounce you man and wife." |

AMEN brother... it's the only thing that works... and it *does* work.

To that end, I have been working on a series of algorithms that attempt to more accurately address the problem, which tends to be more about whom is posting to whom about what subject. (Rather than blocking all posts from a particular poster.) This certainly has been a study in GREP and group dynamics and, if I am successful in making this work, I will open my news server for others to download headers. That way, if you care to, you will see a great reduction in the presence of the sandbox crew and other tripe that most people don't care to read. -- Agent 5.00 Build 1159 Grady-White Gulfstream, out of Oak Island, NC. It reminds me of a guy I worked with way back who spent countless hours working on an assembler program to fix an Epson printer paging issue. Something about this or that Epson printer always advanced an extra line every third page or so, and his fix would make him a millionaire. The printer was probably out of production as we spoke. Same guy was writing a porn novel, and told me (I think I was the only person who actually listened to what he was saying) about a meeting he had with a lawyer friend to talk about his "literature," and to enlist his help in getting it published, because the lawyer had agent contacts in the literary world. So he meets with the lawyer friend for lunch, and gives him the draft of the porn novel to read. The lawyer reads a bit, and to the writer's utter shock, has a bad reaction. He feels insulted. This fellow - can't remember his name - is telling me all this with a straight but hurt-filled face - he can't understand his lawyer friend reaction. He had tried before to tell me the story and some of the details of his "novel," and I had always quickly excused myself, claiming a "meeting" of something, but I heard enough to know it was pure raunch, unadulterated by any redeeming value whatsoever. I think what was most shocking about this whole incident is that I discovered there is at least one lawyer who can be insulted. Nothing to do with Gene's quest really, but it just reminded me of this guy. Sort of wish my memory wasn't so good. --Vic |

You and the dwarfs may have a problem, though, since none of you have anything significant with which to start or maintain a boating thread.
