boat owner again!
Hey guys, I'm a boat owner again. No longer justa wannabee! Got my
incidentals lined up and ready to go try it in the water but think I'll wait until Monday when I'll have the ramps/lake mostly to myself. (If I screw up there won't be so many people watching.) http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo...u-3gQ_MqJsVTFQ I'm thinking of a trip across to the Bahama's maybe next week-end but so far everyone I've asked to go with me has politely declined. |

Congratulations, Bill! I can't understand why no one would go to the Bahamas with you! |

Have fun, bill...and make sure the trailer wheel bearings are greased up. And... don't forget to install the transom plug before launching and open your gas cap vent full before starting the engine. I bet that happens more often than people will admit. Nice fishing rig.... a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work. Thanks for the replies, good advice all. The motor is an (aprox) 95 Yamaha 15 SK, used motor w/no Op Manual. Online I found a manual that SEEMS right that calls for 100:1 fuel mix for Yamahas. I've mixed up a batch of 50:1 for tomorrow until I can be sure. Also picked-up a spare transom plug on advice I read on here a few weeks back. Thanks guys. |
