Ever since Chuck started waving his hatchet around there has been a
conspicuous lack of posting going on over there. And this place seems to be
a lot livelier in the mean time. Funny how things run in cycles.

Now that is a funny post. Nothing going on in Vietnam at that time had
anything to do with the quality of life or liberty in the United States.
The war against Vietnam was a fraud, from beginning to end, including
the time that the French were kicked out and then tried to re-establish
themselves, our using the SEATO treaty as an excuse to send advisers,
and the ill-advised thinking that led us to prop up a right-wing
dictatorship there.

Me, I've got an excuse. Everyone else should be ashamed of themselves.
Actually this place is not all that bad. Once the appropriate filters are
in place, and if responses are not made to the obvious trolls, then things
are fairly genteel and informative here.

Once in the habit, you'll find he's also easily ignored. I personally try
to give all his posts directed at me the response they deserve.
