I hate to say it, but . . . I've noticed on several occasions McCain's
aides having to feed him lines, on subjects that I thought he should be
well-versed in. So far, I've put it down to fatigue from the campaign
grind, but it is something to keep an eye on. I have tremendous respect
for the man, but, it is possible that his time has past.
