My son's boat
Main reason for this post is to see if this picture can be viewed by
people who are not registered on the target web site. I think it will work, but won't know for sure unless I try. http://www.eastcoastboaters.com/gall...08_9_29_45.jpg This is my son's boat on the weed choked St Johns River (at Blue Springs) in Central Florida. Actually, the weeds aren't that bad this year, but there is a lot of idle/no wake zones because of the manatees. I guess that's OK though because all the alligators & manatees make for a bumpy ride if you get going very fast. |

The Silver Springs Run is a tributary of the St Johns. Upstream a bit from Blue Springs. |

I used to take the northern living grandkids to Blue Springs when they visited in the winter to see the manatees that congregate there for the 70* water. |

There aren't nearly as many killed, or collecting prop scars, in recent years. Casady |
