Cinch nailing and Eagle claws..
We will be using more nails for the Brockway, the boat is designed to
be built with nails. When used properly and with the right materials, nails boats are great vessels: Here is a short essay, while I get started on the Brockway. http://trip-reports.com/coppermine/t...s.php?album=17 Rock on, Scotty Smallboats.com RowdyMouseRacing.com ;) |

My BIL (when he had a pool) also used a solar cover........a very efficient way to heat the pool. Kids.......hell, they will jump into and enjoy splashing in 60 degree water anyway. |

And that is about the minimum temp I will use a shorty in. When I used to skin dive and scuba, I had 1/4 farmer john suit and I still got cold in the 55 degree Pacific. |

The course was up at Lake Champlain and the ice was about two foot thick. We went in with full dry suits, Gore-tex long Johns, sweat shirt/pants and electric socks - still froze my ass off. Man that was cold. However walking upside down under the ice more than made up for it. :) I can say that one other time, I was literally knocked out senseless at Lake Alexander in Dayville, CT. Dive team drill/body recovery drill thing. What none of us knew was there was a spring in the deepest part of the lake and that was our search area - 30 feet under tow we hit that spring and the temp dropped 20 degrees instantly. I swear I almost passed out. :) |
