This newsgroup used to be very informative. There was a very nice lady
who knew everything about chemicals for your boat and some very
knowledgeable people all around. What happened?

Pay as little attention to the **** as possible. It's not directed toward

Based on what you read today I don't blame you for wondering if this
is a boating NG.

This NG started going downhill many months ago when it turned into
personal message board as well as a group to discuss guitars, NASCAR,
cooking and grandchildren.

Most real boaters got fed up and left for another place.

It was taken over by snarky little snots who knew next to nothing about
boats and preferred to discuss their grandchildren, golf, homebrew beer,
motorcycle racing, recipes for barbecue - everything except boats.

That would be Peggy Hall who was driven off by a certain obnoxious
individual who bullied her and stalked her at a boat show and who didn't
have the stones to introduce himself when he was a mere 5 paces away. As a
matter of fact, that individual is here now raising hell.

He probably won't bother you if you ignore him.

steady stream of boating related questions and information, the assholes could
not have taken over so easily. You blew it.

Actually you and the other flamers in this NG blew it. Your reply to
this former member is just an example of the rudeness, name calling
