We're simply facilitating the thugs in charge of the People's Republic of China. I suppose that OK with you. People with a conscience think we - and the other western democracies - should withdraw from the Bejing Olympics until and unless the Commies pull out of Tibet and pledge to stay out. But, of course, it must be the fault of those warmongering Tibetans, eh? Hmmmm, I must have misread Tom's intention of this humorous post, I thought Tom was making fun of the historical inaccuracy in the sign. Just in case you were an English Lit. Major or Political Science Major, we did allow Nazi Germany to host the Olympics and we participated in the 1936 Olympics. *If you want to read up on one of the more interesting human interests spects of the 1936 Olympics, you may want to read about Jesse Owens. Whoosh. The guy carrying the sign, I am sure, is pointing out the fact that had today's political climate existed back then, we would have boycotted the Nazi Olympics, just as we should boycott the Communist Olympics. I thought you were going to killfile yourself. What happened? Too much of a coward for that, too? BTW, do you pimp your imaginary son's imaginary girlfriend in other places, or just here?- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - No more than JimH pimps HIS son..... |

I know how much emphasis Harry puts on a woman's looks and age (I don't think I told Harry, but i think she is 21 or 22), so I was just tweaking him by mentioning her beauty and brains. While she didn't go to Yale, she did spend a year at Oxford. |

I know you have limited self-control but posting the word "imaginary" in any of your attacks really makes you look even dumber than you are, Krause. |

Let's see, we'll give everyone a tax break, get ourselves into a mess of a war, then borrow like mad men from China at a cost...... Then bitch about them getting ahead. |

Seems as if Congress, Repub and Dem have been overspending and borrowing from China for years. Blame the Senators also. The 3 running for POTUS are all guilty of overspending. |
