Y'know, it's interesting that the people who have lived there for
eyars a\would be used to it and accept it. It's tthe snow-bird'rs and
transplants that find it annoying.

Like up in CVentral Il. there's people bitching about the windmill
farms . Of course the crabbers seem to be the ones that bought
retirement property there to get out of the rat race of of Chicago and
the "burbs".

So now they are surrounded by monsterousely huge wind generators that
to them ruin the "natural beausty of the land" and make a wonderful
rushing wind noise even at a wisper and it dirves them nuts. so they
are griping. Now the land ownder is looking at them as a supplimentry
lease crop, that is environmentally save to produce electrical power
from natures own breath, and consider them like they would any other
land product, but it's the transplants that want them shut down and
taken out.

Morons.

Around here, it's the farms themselves. The city dwellers like the
"rustic" look of living next to a farm. They didn't realize farms also
have sounds and smells that may not be everyone's cup of tea.
Fortunately, here at least, farms are protected by law.
