Now here's where the problem arose. If Johnh had simply asked for support
for his worthy cause, posting details on his site there wouldn't have been
any problem.
Unfortunately, he chose to use this newsgroup to point out those who didn't
contribute and to embarrass them to do so.
To make matters worse a couple more stoodges joined in the fun taking the
opportunity to slip in cheap shots to even other old scores.
That kind of stuff tends to harden attitudes.
