It's about time to bury rec.boats. Simple Harry - QUIT POSTING OT SUBJECTS that will cut at least half of the garbage in here..... I actually like Harry and have enjoyed many of his contributions and occasional humor. The problem is his obsession with politics, both in people and in general political philosophies. For all it's warts, I still love this country and even though I don't necessarily agree with current directions, I tire of the endless bashing. Constantly calling the POTUS a "dumbfoch" gets old and is frankly childish. We have a system whereby our leaders are elected and courses can be changed. rec.boats is not part of the system. I also don't subscribe to the notion that all posts *have* to be boating related. OT posts are ok with me as long as they are of general interest to people who also share a boating lifestyle or hobby. There's a bunch of personalities here that the exchange of information, stories and experiences with can be informative, interesting or just plain funny as hell. I see nothing wrong with that. Unfortunately, the constant focus on how screwed up this administration is by Harry leads to responses (including from me) and it goes downhill from there. Ok .... so now we'll give it a go again. Harry's out of the Bozo bin. Happy Birthday! :-) Eisboch As yet, you've not been one of his 'targets' because you didn't agree with his politics or caught him in his incessant lying. When that happens, you may change from 'actually liking' Harry to something not quite as positive. I'm wondering what Harry did in the last day to get himself out of your 'Bozo Bin'. In addition to your comments liking America, etc., I would add that I respect and cherish all babies, whether born or not quite born yet. His implications that I and other conservatives enjoy the killing of children and innocent civilians is not the sort of behavior I can tolerate. Happy Birthday. -- John *H* (Not the other one!) |

When I read them, I noticed he "attacked" just about everyone in the newsgroup. I suspect he's just rip**** that I don't bother with him anymore. Poor little ****. |

Show some proof that I've "attacked" just about everyone here. Your MO is very predictable. If someone dares call you out on your many, many daily lies and insults you go into damage control and change the subject by doing more lies and insults. It's humorous how you attack me in the post above, then whine that I attack you. You call me a poor little **** when YOU are the one that allegedly hides behind your precious little Bozo's bin and insults and calls people names!!!! |

I had this problem with Waylon regarding a lovely Carolina lady who spent many productive years here before going to New Orleans to help out but was gunned down by home intruders. After Waylon's outrageous lies & crap I had to flush him down to the septic tank... and I must admit I feel much better for doing it. Sometimes, for your own salvation you just have to do it. |

Keep sniping, guys...... the writing is on the wall.... Not to worry: rec.boats is a practically no-traffic newsgroup. Seriously, though, I have no objections any more to moderated newsgroups. I participate in a couple, and find them much more informative and fun. Same with a couple of moderated discussion groups I frequent. Much more signal, much less noise, and the sort of "anonymous" attack dogs who plague this newsgroup are dumped by the moderators after their second obnoxious post. Chuck's joint has possibilities, but could use some more traffic. Oh...and on a discussion group, you can post photos that appear with the articles...a bonus. |
