Good Friday to all Christians.
no theological argument necessary. Just wanted to say Happy Good Friday to the believers. |
Good Friday to all Christians.
"Tim" wrote in message ... no theological argument necessary. Just wanted to say Happy Good Friday to the believers. Is Good Friday supposed to be happy? Growing up, it always seemed so glum & draggy. Nothing was open here and we were expected to spend a good time in church thinking about Christ's last hours. Easter Sunday sure made up for it though. |

Depends. My wife traditionally makes pierogi today. She's making them now. All in all, I'm pretty happy. --Vic |

As Tim said..............it was all planned...............a mission He chose to follow through. If you are not a Christian you cannot understand. If you're a GOOD decent Christian, then you wouldn't act like you do. Lying is a start, warp17. |

Having spent quite a few years in Roman Catholic schools, I can say that Good Friday was always spent as a 'somber' day. Interestingly, it seems as though the weather has most often followed the somberness of the day, dreary, dark, and overcast. Then, Easter would always be nice and bright and sunny. This year seems to be different. Must be due to Global Warming. -- John *H* (Not the other one!) |
