Hey, did you get my email yesterday about the fish? Hey, Dick and SW, and anyone else,, Got that Peavey Programax 10 working. Sounds weird though, like a blown speaker, or a bad board somewhere. I know that there is probably a bad ribbon connector in the program switches.. slap the top of the amp and it turns off and on the effects board.. |

I've been looking through Usenet, but there ain't much there. alt.binaries.sounds.midi alt.binaries.sounds.mini.blues alt binaries.sounds.midi.country alt.binaries.sounds.midi.originals Those are a few. The first one usually is the the most active. Like I mentioned, you have to pick and choose. Some are terrible, some are pro quality. Since the files are so small, I just open them directly, listen to a few measures, then either skip it and move on or save it by selecting "save attachment". There are also some very good web based sites, but they are often difficult to find. Best to just search for a particular song title and add ".mid" in the search field. I have quite a few on my computer. I'll email some to you if you want. Let me know what kind of music floats your boat. (boating content) Eisboch |

That amp, if it' the one I'm thinking of, had 1x12 Peavey "Scorpions" in it. those were made back in the mid 80's and it's quite possible one of the speakers could have a bad cone. a friend of min has a wonderful peavey combo from back in the late 90's. He lived in Mississippi for several years, and his amp startedsounding wierd. he stored his amp out in the garage, and some kind of little bugs got into it and chewed little tiny holes in the speaker cones. Bug bomb toolate. don't know for sure, though. |
