Hey, what else was there to do on a desert island. http://www.nndb.com/people/827/000023758/ I once worked with a fellow that grew up in the late Mr. Denver's retirement town. Occasionally, Bob would frequent the county fair and sign autograph's for fans. He had a polaroid of Bob in his "booth". There was Bob, in his Gilligan red shirt and sailor cap smiling with the guy's mom. The booth was nothing fancy, just a couple sheets of OSB nailed up for a make shift booth and a lone chair for Bob to sit. My friend recalled the story of Bob and his run in with the law. I couldn't believe it at the time but you gotta figure Bob was genuinely a nice guy who loved his fans as did Allan Hale Jr. aka "Skipper". One would think that at some point your life though, "getting high" would get old. db~Funny, this thread is somehow still ON TOPIC sort of. |

So those old folks are still buying. Not me. I did not find that it did much when I was at San Francisco State University, so why get screwed up now. But for Shortwave, they were peddling Cohiba's everywhere. Wondered how many were genuine. |

Well, in one episode the good prof. did give up trying to make spark plugs out of sea shells. |
