After all, if the water is frozen over in East Bugtussle then there's no possible reason that anybody from any other geographic region would have the least amount of interest in discussing a boating related topic, right? It gets pretty discouraging, but it's just people using the anonymity found on the internet to behave like boorish little kids and get away with it. I bought her at a customs auction and spent a few bucks fixing her up. Looks better than new now at least to me. I just put in a new sink-refrigerator-bait freezer unit on deck and replaced a little rotted out baltek under the fiberglass under the anchor windlass. Do you have the open or convertible? It's a "convertible," though the "top" no longer is "canvas." I had that removed and a new "top" built out of fiberglass. So now, it is a "hardtop." I bought her at a customs auction and spent a few bucks fixing her up. Looks better than new now at least to me. I just put in a new sink-refrigerator-bait freezer unit on deck and replaced a little rotted out baltek under the fiberglass under the anchor windlass. Do you have the open or convertible? It's a "convertible," though the "top" no longer is "canvas." I had that removed and a new "top" built out of fiberglass. So now, it is a "hardtop." What fabric tops do best is deteriorate. My mistake. I was so involved with changing out the canvas top, I sort of internalized the concept of convertible versus hardtop.
