I think you should pay someone, namely me, to come and remove that old,
beat up, eyesore of an RV from your property. For a reasonable amount, I
might take the trailer also.

For the little use we have for it, I should take you up on that offer.
Mrs.E. will have no part of getting rid of it though, at least not yet. * I
take it out once a month and drive it around for a day, running the
generator, just to keep it up to 'snuff. *That's what is nice about it's
size. *You can also use it for around town transportation and not feel like
you are driving a big RV or truck. *When I was building a stairway up to my
new office and needed some 14' 2x10's at Lowe's, it came in handy. * Still,
after 2 and a half years, it only has 3,700 miles on it.

Hopefully, within the next couple of weeks, I am planning on a little
mid-winter voyage in it. *I have no idea where I am going to head, but it
will be someplace warmer and dryer than here. * Winter sucks.

The local tanning booth?

I'm thinking of driving up to Annapolis later to buy fishing line. I
only have about 15 spools of it, but I need more. Gives me an excuse to
visit the boatyards along the way and see if spring has hit any of them.- Hide quoted text -

Is it the boatyard where your lobster boat is? If so, take some pics,
we'd all love to see it!

If you do unload that Sprinter camper, post it in here first.
JohnH will only get as far as Disney World and that's where it'll end it's
life..up on blocks at some sleazy trailer park.

Be careful. Mid winter boredom is what led to buying another guitar that I
needed like a hole in the head.

My wife only lets me hold my "unlimited plastic card" when she is with
me. That's in case she wants a new washing machine or a new car. The
only card I usually carry is my "internet purchase" cash card, which
never has more than a few hundred bucks' room on it. Of course, if I
want to buy clothes, there are no limits. Some years, I spend as much as
$300 on new shorts and shirts. Without wifely supervision. Which
explains all the semi-pornographic fishing shirts I have in my closet I
cannot wear in public.

Nope. First trip will be to Flagstaff, AZ, for at least a couple of weeks.
There is just an awful lot of beauty within a days drive of Flagstaff.

I dunno, Don. There are blacks and Latinos who visit Disney World, and
we know our boy Herring doesn't like either group, especially Latinos
living in close proximity. A trailer park in Idaho might be more suitable.

Have a good trip.
My buddy in the BVI keeps asking me to head on down his way for a visit. A
couple weeks ago he had his boat moored between Saba Rock and the Bitter End
Yacht Club. By taking control of the web cam I was supposed to be able to
see his 32' Irwin sailboat.
I found the controls kind of jerky...don't know if that's because of my
computer or if I was competing with other viewers for control of the
tilt/pan/zoom.
D'oh... lost another 4% on my modest investments in January. That's my
travel mad money.

Did you ever follow up or try to negotiate on the one you saw for sale on

Lovely place. The room rates aren't bad, either.
