Most but not all of our "collection" consists of old movies, including a

number that so far have not appeared on DVD. I've been a film buff since

my high school days. I doubt a numnutz like you would recognize about 50

of the titles I've collected.

I convert or save movies in *.AVI format. Very high quality, and the

usual full-length production only takes up about 760 megabytes. With my

new server setup, I can "broadcast" the movies to any computer in the

house, or if I am on the road, I can access my server and watch them. A

nice alternative to the crap movies available in hotel rooms late at

night. (That is the theory...I just set up this server and haven't

tried it yet.)

Also, I can burn the .AVI files to DVD if I wish.

On a lighter note, I passed my cardiovascular exam today. Pressure cuffs

on both arms and legs, hooked up to a very expensive looking computer

device, plus ultrasound through my midsection and up through my neck.

Very strange to see the inside of ones "stuff." Three very attractive

young women were doing the testing (one was a trainee), which made the

experience even easier.

Oh...you are referring to gays. I have no problem with gays, but I get a
chuckle out of all the conservative GOP'ers who are so profoundly
anti-gay and hide the fact that they are. There's little more enjoyable
politically than the "outing" of a conservative, gay-hating GOP'er,
unless, of course, it is the outing of a conservative pedophile. :-)
I'm hoping for a nice report on James Dobson soon.

Are you sure John? It would certainly save me a lot of work. He seems to be
having an off day today so I probably wont' be capturing his quotes for
posterity until he picks up his pace again.- Hide quoted text -

Harry's probably busy getting ready for some blacktie affair, he's SO
sophisticated and cultured. Either that or watching some John Wayne
movie. Or calling people cultured names like dumbfoch, or asshole. Or
having a sophisticated and cultural rich dinner aboard his Zimmerman
like lobster boat with his Yale alumni and Dr. Dr. wife.

Boatless because someone's not shown any pictures of their boat?
Kind of reminds me of a certain person's Zimmerman like lobster
boat.......

Is the " show the Boat " thing the same as " Mines bigger than

I've been ignoring xxxxxxxxxxx for a while, but I see he is still sniffing

up my butt.

Jim, it's not necessary to delete my name from Harry's quotes. Except for
two or three people, that I can think of, he's called everyone here worse.

Absolutely sure. I've got no desire to be listed among Harry's 'current
friends'.
