The latest press release from Grand Banks confirms they are now sold
out for the remainder of 2008, and with the season just getting
underway they are sold out well into production for 2009.

Nearly all new GB's are north of $1mm, adequately equipped.

If someone has more money than Harry, they need to take it away from
them. The same way anyone who owns a bigger boat than Harry, needs to
pay a surcharge on their fuel.

Know what really grinds my gears?

I could buy three of those low transom 21' Parker CC with the capital
gains I paid on the recent real estate transactions.

Three of them.

And my boat is smaller!

I can't agree.

I thought that spending for goods and services was the way to boost
the economy, not pouring more of it into the bottomless bureaucratic
coffers.

I'd give them away to inexperienced boaters to practice on.

They are nice in small ponds. You might be able to let the Boy Scouts

Ah yes..

The Beatles.

One, two, three, four...
Hrmm!
One, two, (one, two, three, four!)

Let me tell you how it will be;
There's one for you, nineteen for me.
'Cause I'm the taxman,
Yeah, I'm the taxman.

Should five per cent appear too small,
Be thankful I don't take it all.
'Cause I'm the taxman,
Yeah, I'm the taxman.

(if you drive a car, car;) - I'll tax the street;
(if you try to sit, sit;) - I'll tax your seat;
(if you get too cold, cold;) - I'll tax the heat;
(if you take a walk, walk;) - I'll tax your feet.

Taxman!

'Cause I'm the taxman,
Yeah, I'm the taxman.

Don't ask me what I want it for, (ah-ah, mister Wilson)
If you don't want to pay some more. (ah-ah, mister heath)
'Cause I'm the taxman,
Yeah, I'm the taxman.

Now my advice for those who die, (taxman)
Declare the pennies on your eyes. (taxman)
'Cause I'm the taxman,
Yeah, I'm the taxman.

And you're working for no one but me.

Taxman!

Nothing suggest that the buyers are from the US....... indeed, local
boat merchants, finding few local takers, are liquidating excess
inventory into other countries....

GB may be, too....

I suspect Harry is seriously reconsidering his "tax" proposal.
