There may be some problems because the crew hasn't worked as a team before, but I suspect, any non-calls were because officials are generally hands-off in the Super Bowl. Note, I said "generally". You think that because some billionaires and multimillionaires added to their fortunes, the game is worth discussing ad nauseum.- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - Yes. Actually, I don't think the game has been discussed ad nauseum. I don't think we are close to ad nauseum. Now if we were still talking about the game 7 yrs afterwards saying the supreme court stole the game from NE, now that would be ad nauseum. Reggie - I finally got my lens back from Nikon. This is the 18-200 VR that I thought wasn't focusing properly. Nikon replaced the cam ring, and the wave motor, repaired the lens FPC and roller guide ring, and cleaned the lens. Made me feel better. I guess it was the lens after all. -- John H |

I had no problems with the officiating, other than their obvious bias towards the Giants which cost me big bucks. -- John H Yeah, I don't gamble.. Used to play pretty good pool, coulda' made some bucks but no. Dad always told me not to gamble money you would not throw out the window of your car... I have never had enough to throw any out the window..;) We were at the neighbor's last night for the game. I don't usually gamble on anything, but as I didn't care going in which team won, I figured a wager on one or the other would make it a little more exciting. After some arguing, he took the Giants and ten points. That added a little spice to the game. -- John H What did you bet.... $5.00 and a batch of your homemade cookies? $2.00. But the wife lost a dollar on the coin toss. He got none of my cookies. Actually I came out pretty good. He bought and fixed all the wings! -- John H |

May get away with it for a while but in the long run, cheaters never really win. Here a short run example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RL48rN2ven0 |
