The hull ID number usually is located on the footboard at the rear of
the PWC. The engine ID usually is located at the front of the engine,
halfway down from the cylinder head.

Oxalic acid works for the brown stain (tannin). I buy a box at a hardware
store and then mix about three tablespoons per gallon. Spray it on, wipe
off, and rinse.

Thanks guys,I will try that stuff. I bought it from a guy that I
have known for years, for $100.00. The hull is in good shape,he said
something was wrong with the engine,so I tore it down and it has a
bad rod bearing. It's a 99 model BTW. What is the better deal,to take
the crank to a shop and have it rebuilt,or buy one of the Hot Rod
kits? The cylinder jugs have cast iron sleeves (a happy discovery!)
is that stock,or have they been sleeved? Also there is a shallow
scratch in the hull, what is the best thing to fill that with? Ok,I
am done now...no really! Anyway, thanks for the help!
