I clicked that link, and I can tell you with absolute certainty that it is
completely unrelated to the file I uploaded on your behalf. Ringo.com is an
entirely different company with no relationship that I know of to
YouSendIt.com. I think perhaps you looked at the wrong email in your inbox?
Look for an email from Russ Glindmeier via YouSendIt. That's the sender's
name in the confirmation email I got. It could be that your spam catcher
might have nailed the email from YouSendIt.

If you don't mind, I'd love to see it.

First name (tom) last name (francis) at swsports dot org.

Let me get a confirmation from Reggie that this goofy download service
actually works, and then I'll be happy to send you a copy as well.

10-4.

I sent you an email personally with the link (the service emailed me a copy
of the link). Let me know how it goes.

Downloaded and saved.

I would just like to say thanks for the file - it is outstanding.

There are a couple of images I'd like to get prints of - any
possibility?

You have a surreal talent for natural composition - I'm jealous.

Well done - incredible.

Glad you enjoyed it, Tom. Let me know what images you want, and I'll email
you the full-res jpegs. You can then print them yourself or have them
printed at a lab.

Damn.

So much for that camera.

You think camera repair people should work for wal-mart wages?

No - I don't expect that.

I do expect a reasonable rate to replace the viewfinder glass and
upload the latest software.

It seems to me that 2/3s of the cost of the camera new (as of 2 1/2
years ago) is a bit excessive.

You're doing the right think. With electronics there might be a few
improvements in the 2008 version.
Do you need Consumer Reports recommendation?

Thanks, but no.

I've been looking at the new E-3 anyway - good excuse to get one.

You owe it to yourself to give the new D300 a hard look. If I was shopping
today, that's where I'd go and never look back. It's that good. Camera of
the Year and deservedly so.

How much do you have invested in Olympus glass?

Time to step up to a Nikon or Canon./

Reg:

I compiled an eBook last month of some of my 2007 photography. Burned a
large number of copies to CD and included them to friends, family and
clients inside Christmas Cards. The reviews have been very gratifying.
Would you like a copy? The file is too large (50mb) to send as an email
attachment, but I've read about a way of sending large files via a service
called YouSendIt (yousendit.com). I've been looking for an excuse to try
it. If interested, I just need a valid email address.

Well, I'm firmly committed to Olympus 4/3s format so that's where I'll
stay.
