Default Clever marine weather reporting system

http://i90.atmos.washington.edu/ferr...mainframe1.htm

Any community with regularly scheduled ferry runs can set up a very
useful wind and temperature recording system.

The Washington State ferries are equipped with thermometers and
anemometers that observe conditions in real time, and the computer
page is updated about every 10 minutes.

Wind is blowing like stink here tonight. Just got back from checking
my lines and fenders. Logged on to see what current wind conditions
really are, and noticed almost 40 knots observed between Elliott Bay
and Eagle Harbor.

Auntie Em! Staying put again this weekend. :-(
