Default Blu-Ray vs HD DVD

Which is better?

This depends on your definition of better.

Blue-Ray:
- Higher capacity
- More expensive technology (blue laser, disks)
- More obnoxious copy-protection technology
(there are already some players who can not play some movies)
- Much better Studio support (All, but 2 studios)

HD-DVD:
- Lower cost tech (existing DVD factories can be used)
- Was somewhat earlier on the market

The Sony PS3 makes good Blue-ray player. It's quite competitive
price-wise, too.
