Happy Christmas Eve!

Made even more by the Redskins beating the Vikings last night!

Oh, Harry, the Redskins are the local DC football team. The Vikings are a
group of folks from Norway.

You certainly have captured the rice bowl for your ever-expanding
selection of off-topic, boring posts, ranging from your inability to
play golf, your Disney cruises, your grandchildren, your children, your
clapped-out old motorcycle, your religious views, the "best days of your
life" in the military, your inability to perform as a sub teacher, your
vast computer knowledge, your shopping trips to Wal-Mart, et cetera, ad
infinitum, ad nauseum. And of course, very very few boating/fishing
related posts, other than to add some snotty comment.

Maybe you'll get a woody next year and life will look better for you.

And a 'Good Morning' to you too!

Wayne, I get the prize! Skipper couldn't hold a candle to this lovely
paragraph by the esteemed Krause!

Good thing you don't claim the Ravens. They sure came out second best
in the battle of two bird teams yesterday.......

My Christmas gift to you, John. Here's a link to a beautiful and
reverent old story about the parents of Mary, her exact relationship
with Joseph, and circumstances surrounding the birth of Jesus.
Scholars generally agree that this version of the story was written
about 150 AD, or not too long after the books of Mark and Luke. It
circulated among the early Christians until declared unworthy in 325
AD. Whether or not one considers it "heresy", it is an interesting and
seasonally appropriate read.

Merry Christmas.
