My personal opinion is that a special 'war tax' should be applied when a president wants to go to war. It would be a pay as you go situation...not downloading the costs on future generations by adding to the national debt. |

In the US, that's basically how the personal Federal income tax started in WWII. Before 1943 very few people paid an income tax (3 percent of the population) and there was no employee withholding tax. Please don't give our politicians another tax idea until they get rid of some of the existing ones. Eisboch |
