Off to the marina

Mrs.E. and I are heading off to the marina. They are having a benefit
dinner for one of the employees who was diagnosed with leukemia this past
summer and has been out of work. Fortunately, the type he has is very
responsive to chemo and he is expected to make a full recovery but will be
out of commission for a year or so.

He has 3 young kids, so it's timely and great that the marina has decided to
have a benefit and fund raiser just before the holidays. His father also
works at the marina and both are super nice, helpful people.

Should be a large turnout as both are well respected and liked by everyone
who has occasion to benefit from their expertise during the boating season.

My mom died from the chronic myelogenous variety about ten years ago. Hope
the employee does well.

My wife is a survivor of a somewhat rare form of the disease called Hairy
Cell Leukemia. Nasty stuff.

Email sent, but since others have asked, I'll post the info he

Checks should be made out to:

"Reception for Todd Steele"

and sent to:

John Burman
Kingman Yacht Center
1 Shipyard Lane
Cataumet, MA 02534

or, to the attorney handling the account at:

Jonathan Clarke
Box 1316
Duxbury, MA 02332

I certainly was not trying to solicit donations, but I am sure that whatever
you want to do will be very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Eisboch

Please see my response to Tim. Thanks.

BTW ... the benefit was a huge success. In addition to personnel donations,
several local businesses donated goods and services ranging from rods,
reels, large screen TV monitors, fishing charters, sailing cruises, dinners,
tools, etc. that were auctioned off in a "silent" auction. Final numbers
aren't in, but when we left over $25,000 had been raised.
