Somewhere back in this thread you lost me. Now, that's not a derogatory
comment about you by any means. It's just proof that I have to be led with
a short leash!

Well, John I must have lost something int he translation myself. When
you started the thread you said "Now, tear it up" and showed your
kitty dringing drip water from the faucet. I was curious about what
is the "tear it up". so I inserted some of my own "Tear it up"s old
rock threads. now Mountian playing mississippi Queen? It's not a
strategic song, but what a ball crusher...

eh, I'll quit while I think I'm half way ahead..... LOL!

Here's what my cat does every time I visit our downstairs bathroom.
The
damn thing won't drink out of a bowl!

Let me guess: Likes the drip? What the hell is it with them? My son's
cat's the same way. She once slept in the sink overnight waiting for
someone to turn on the drip in the morning. I wondered if she didn't
like the taste or scent of the bowl, so we switched to glass (instead
of plastic), china, you name it. Nope. Only the drip would do.

Amen, you got it. It's gotta be a drip. And, I can't just run a little
water in the sink and stopper it.

They want the FRESH water, no one likes stale water. Fix yourself a
glass of water, let it sit for half a day, than taste it. Now you
understand why cat's like fresh water.

Wrong. Cats (along with most animals) could care less if the water is
fresh or 5 days old as long as it is not contaminated.

Fresh to us is cold and fluorinated. A cat could care less.

Your theory conflicts with other people's observations. Now what do we do?

holiday season! I did almost all of my xmas shopping online this year.

Well, Seymour doesn't make a "bad" pickup, but regretably I don't know
much about the Sh- 5's because it's an electric guitar pickup, and 've
only constructed bass guitars. Now the seymores I like in a bass are
the "Quarter pounder" for a P bass, and the j-bass's I'd go with a
"Classic Stack" in the bridge position, and a "Basslines" in the neck
position. But otherwise I use either Lane Poor's when I can get them,
or Aero's... they're great!
