Well, Seymour doesn't make a "bad" pickup, but regretably I don't know
much about the Sh- 5's because it's an electric guitar pickup, and 've only constructed bass guitars. Now the seymores I like in a bass are the "Quarter pounder" for a P bass, and the j-bass's I'd go with a "Classic Stack" in the bridge position, and a "Basslines" in the neck position. But otherwise I use either Lane Poor's when I can get them, or Aero's... they're great! wrote: On Dec 20, 8:01 am, Tim wrote: On Dec 20, 6:02 am, John H. wrote: On Wed, 19 Dec 2007 15:20:15 -0800 (PST), Tim wrote: Not as heavy of a "Tear it up" but it does have a boat in it... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jG48_69UTA Somewhere back in this thread you lost me.
