Attacking his religion may backfire. Believe it or not, there are a lot of
bible thumping Democrats out there!

(Not to imply that you have a religious streak in you, Harry.)

There's no attack on his religion, just his overt relgious-osity, which
I for one find repugnant. I don't give a damn what religion he is, but I
wish he'd stop shoveling it in our faces.

Au contraire. I don't give a damn what religion you practice, so long as
no public funds are involved. You want to hold a prayer vigil on the
town green, go for it, but if any public funds are expended, then you
reimburse the town. Oh...but that does not include religious displays on
the public's property.

But yet you admit to attending a Christmas parade and "laughing out
loud" at their traditions. That is disrespectful and intolerant,
period, no excuse.

I certainly laughed out loud at the fundamentalist Christian guys up
there on the crosses during the parade, pretending they were Jewish and
Jesus. Such chutzpah!

If y'all'd quit making a big deal of it, he'd probably not mention it.

Surely you're not getting worried already?

I guess I don't blame you though.

I'm not concerned that he might actually win, but I am worried when any
sort of religious fundamentalism rears its ugly head in our secular
society. A secular society is a fragile entity in an onslaught of
religious zealotry.

We sure as hell wouldn't want to interfere with the San Francisco crowd and
it's followers.
