Larry -- Merry Christmas! http://youtube.com/watch?v=Qi_NhFS4xEE Used to go to Pop's place on the beach in Biloxi. About $2 for a big platter of fries and fried oysters. 1965. After the hurricane came through, no more Pop's place. Was one of the places that did not survive. The larger places just had the first floor washed. Know it well - or did. I was there for Camille... |

We only had 95 gusting to 105 mph winds according to the reports. All I know is the blew hard for a long time. And luckily I lived in the concrete (cement) block barracks. |

I'm getting sick just thinking about it. So what's the weirdest thing you've dined on? For me I'd have to say trying alligator and turtle soup while on a visit to New Orleans. Weirdest? Vegamite stew. It wasn't half bad. Most Disgusting? On R&R in the Phillipines - some kind of paste thing that I swear I found a dog tooth in. :) |

Eisboch I've ate pounds of alligator. Good stuff. I've also had deep fried turtle meat, which wasn't that great. Edible, but bland. Educated people use the word "eaten", Sally. You've really got a shine on for Loogy. Try to control your impulses. Try to ignore posts that don't involve you. Go paint your boy's room, Donnie. |
