WTF?

Why the hell can't you guys leave families you don't know squat about
and have no business commenting on out of your BS'ing?
It's really sad.
Never rag on somebody's loved ones. Just makes you look like a jerk.
And that's a fact, Jack.

Now you did it, stirrin up the proverbial hornet's nest. I wish you
hadn't done that... ;)

I've decided recently to simply leave the politics and non-boat related
BS on shore.

Yeah, yeah. I just got ****ed. These are smart guys, and it's a
shame to see them doing this. But your advice is good.

Same here, but I try to laugh it off to myself as the ones with the most
vile to spew are more likely than not the least manly of them all. I
seriously doubt many of them would say 1/10 of the drivel they type if
they were in a face-to-face situation. I would be willing to bet on it.

For the pure boating related discussions, there's a wealth of valuable
information and knowledgeable people. Pretty much any topic, someone has
an answer or can direct them to a place to look for it. For the rest,
nothing more really needs to be said.

Well said!
It's a shame when others see your closeness to family members as a weakness
to be exploited and taken advantage of.
Kind of makes you wonder about their personal situations.

Do you consider a question like, "How's your mom (or daughter, or Marine,
or grandmother) doing to be an exploitation of a closeness to family
members?

There you go again John. You continue to make my original point that you
only come here to:

1. Start arguments.
2. Insult other members here who you have a hard on for.

Have a good evening.

What did you find insulting, Jim?

Boy, that sure sounds like you are doing the same thing!

I've decided a very long time ago that I will not say anything about
another person that I would not say to them face-to-face. I admit a few
times in the past I entered a few silly debates, but no more. I do not
get drawn into the name-calling here that becomes the norm on more than
one occasion.

I was referring to the non-boating related discussions.
