This really hurts, but...

You are right.

Good sound quality, too.

Buddy sent me an email is the finder. Would be nice to have a capture
program for some of the tunes to store as an MP3 file.

I've used the "Sound Recorder" bundled in most Windows versions. It's a
little tricky to coordinate, but it works. You open the sound recorder
program on top of the music source ... in this case the link to the tune you
want, then start the music and quickly start the recorder.
You will have an option later to save it at several different bit rates.

Good tip, thanks.

Here's an interesting web site on using "Sound Recorder" including how
to extend record time past 60 seconds.

Somehow in the trials of using "Sound Recorder" I figured out how to extend
the recording time, but I don't exactly remember how I do it.

The bad news is ....

I tried using it with Calif. Bill's link. It doesn't seem to work, although
I only tried it once and didn't fool around with it.

Of course it would be easy enough to run "line out" or "headphone out"
to a standalone CD/DVD recorder or a second PC.

Bill's site is pretty interesting. I'm wondering if they are running
legally. If not we should record fast. :-)

There is a program called Station Ripper that is supposed to do that.
Actually there are many programs to record streaming radio to mp3 files.
