We didn't discuss it any further than what I've already mentioned. If you're really interested, I'll ask him next time we talk or send him an email. He was ****ed that Outlook kept crashing though. It is a fairly common problem: http://www.spendmatters.com/index.cf...is-a-Nightmare http://techrepublic.com.com/5208-623...224493&start=0 http://www.tabletquestions.com/micro...3-crashes.html http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2...own_issues.htm http://www.nevillehobson.com/2007/04...ok-2007-sucks/ Those people are all amateurs who could benefit from some assistance from Jim, his son, or Harry. I am glad Harry and especially the marine's computer is running great, but there are way to many IT Managers who have seen mega problems for me to want to go through the learning curve to be a Vista Geek. I just as soon use Win XP and Office 2003, and upgrade when I buy a new computer to an OS and Word program that is out of beta testing. Open Source is looking very good. |
