Annapolis (MD) Power Boat Show
Interesting that there haven't been any comments / reviews of the boat
show in Annapolis this weekend. We went Friday and had a great time. The weather couldn't have been better - high 60's / low 70's; plenty of sunshine; and just a mild wind. Lots of big dream boats to ogle and only a few 'pushy' sales people. For me, I believe that one of the better areas of 'real' interest was the Formula dealer (or maybe the manufacturer) - the boats were nice, the prices were a bit higher than other comparable sized boats, but the financing plan they were offering more than offset the upfront cost. 0% for 4yrs, then 4.49% for the remainder. Even the independent loan specialists were starting at 6.5% for 20 yrs. ------------------------------------- gds Harpers Ferry, WV 2003 Baja 242 Islander http://icanhelp56.homestead.com/Baja001.html Two 2004 SeaDoo RXP (215 hp) JetSkis (capable of 65-70 mph, depending on rider(s)) http://icanhelp56.homestead.com/SeaDoo01.html email me for more info or phone number gdsmith56 at excite dot com |

The wife's out of town, and that would have been a nice way to spend a Saturday. Did get a nice motorcycle ride out towards your neck of the woods though. Alexandria, VA |
