I'm far too hideous to be seen in public, but I don't have a bad
looking left thumb.... (see page 1 pdf) :-) Warning: the photo of my thumb appears on a website promoting a boating product, so if you're averse to viewing a commercial site please don't follow this link: http://www.lat43.com/pressroom.html (happens to be darn good (!) soap. I haven't used anything else for the last several months and don't anticipate ever doing so again.) |

Heck, most folks get a tan on their left arm/hand while just driving their car during the summer. ;-) Do you ever see the sun in Seattle? That photo was taken in May, long before our two week sunny season of late July and early Aug. There's a pretty high powered flash going off a few feet away, but nobody will ever call me Ol' Brown Chuck. What did the Seattlite say to the Pillsbury Doughboy? "Nice tan!" |

Excellent question. Apparently the soap is pretty hot when it is put in the bottles and sealed up. When the bottles cool off, the sides cave in. I've bought three bottles of soap since last May, and every time in every shop the bottles all look like they're puckered up from eating lemons. Heck, I think the stuff probably has some lemon in it, so maybe that's the cause. I was squeezing the bottle to plump it back up for the photo. The portion of the label under my thumb reads, "Warning, dissolves fiberglass." :-) not really, of course There's a good view of the entire label on the home page for the soap company. I've heard that Hinckley is inquiring about getting this product furnished to them under private label with the Hinckley brand on it, and that would become the officially recommended cleaner for Hinckleys. Available no doubt for $75-80 a bottle at your local Hinckley dealer. |

"The Bluest Skies you'll ever see are in Seattle, the greenest green you'll ever see is in Seattle". And it's true. It just doesn't happen every day of the year.- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - No, no, no. Somebody screwed up those lyrics when they made "Here Come the Brides" and the results have endured for 40 years. They're supposed to go "The bluest skies you'll NEVER see are in Seattle, the greenest moss you'll ever see is in Seattle,,," Just like the third or fourth largest city in the state, about half an hour north of Seattle. Boeing builds planes there. The original town founders decided on a descriptive name, "Everwet". Some map maker or land surveyor said "That can't be right!" and suddenly, lo and behold, we had the town of Everett. It rains here, everyday. The streets are jammed with cars, housing prices are through the roof, and liberals are running amuck. The women(except my wife of course) are homelier than average, and think that the height of fashion is a Goretex parka from REI or Eddie Bauer. The art museum is filled with toem poles and paint-by-number oils. Our bustling nightlife scene is so deplorable that our top musicians all leave town or commit suicide. You can't find anything in most restaurants except a fast food hamburger or clam chowder served in a sour dough "bread bowl". Truly, nobody in their right mind would ever want to live here. Should you here of anybody planning to relocate up this way, do your best to talk them out of it. :-) |

For some strange reason my daughter once wanted to live in Seattle after she graduated. Once we told her about the weather she quickly changed her mind. ;-) Good job. I'm sure your daughter is a charming young lady but we're getting extremely crowded up this way. With all the "advantages" noted above, it's a mystery to me just why. |
