The problem is that the surfers are always there. I think he hesitated till he thought the surfers were aware. (Note, none were actually surfing when the boat passed. The surfers have cooperated in this way for years.) And I think he kept well in to avoid the surfers that were further out. The pilot boat goes out several times a day. Looked like fun to me. |
