6hp Suzuki Motor + Alternator
I'm about to purchase a 6hp Suzuki and just thought I'd get the groups
opinon on the motor. I'm going to be putting it on a 10ft Alumnacraft for use in fising and short-distance boat trips. Because of my boats transom, I'm getting the 15" length version. anyone have any experience with this motor or Suzuki small motors in general? I want to make sure I'm buying a worthwhile product here, and I know Suzuki makes great larger outboards. I think the total cost is around $1,300.00 |

My experience with them is that they are louder and run rougher than their two cylinder counterparts. A 9.9 on a 10' boat might be too much for you but it will be more enjoyable and it will have a better resale value. Dan |
