flatwater canoeing in the Sierras with no motor boats

Can anyone recommend a fla****er canoeing destination in the Sierras
with no motor boats/no ATVs alowed? We liked Yosemite's Lake Eleanor
a
lot, now looking for something north, in the Tahoe/Truckee area. We
have a light canoe and can carry it up to a mile from the car.

I probably should not say this, but the reservoirs along highway 4
(near Bear Valley) are among the best meeting your criteria.

Guess what, this is exactly where we went. An owner of a kayak store
recommended Spicey reservoir, and it was great.
