![]() Fished three days in the Virginia Beach area, and I have to say it was the best fishing in terms of variety of species and numbers caught and released since we moved out of Florida. Most of the time we were adjacent to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, but we also had some good luck inside Lynnhaven Inlet and at the docks at Rudee Inlet, plus two "wrecks" that apparently are known to just about every local down there. The weather was hot, breezy and perfect. Sea conditions were a bit rough on Saturday, but nothing unmanageable. We started out with squid as bait, and then switched to strips cut from a few of the smaller fish we caught. |

Was this today?
I was out along the CBBT myself today. Squid and caught a mess of Croaker, all thrown back though. For a day that was supposed to be calm with 1ft becoming 1-3ft.......I think NOAA needs to go back to basic forecasting. It was worse out by Cape Henry. Loads of fun riding those though. We transited Cape Henry around 10 am Monday, and it was just fine for us. |

I wasn't paying much attention to the time at that time, but between 10 and 11 is close enough. |
